 Bankside Children's Centre provides activities and support for all families and children under the age of 5

We aim to give young children the best possible start in life by offering education, health and wellbeing services

We offer tailored sessions for different age groups and to those with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND).

We also offer support during pregnancy, an opportunity to talk to others. We are a children's centre serving a hugely diverse community with a number of needs, ensuring these are met wherever possible.

If you feel you need any support or just want to attend a group, then please get in touch or just drop in.

 Groups

Monday  / Stay and Play session (13:45pm to 15:00pm) 

Children that are aged between 18 months to 5 years old can come and play in our nursery. They will be able to access a wide range of activities indoors and outdoors. This will support and enhance their play and development.

Wednesday Community group (9am to 11:00am, Term Time only)

Coffee morning with a different focus every week, providing support, helping to build relationships and making friends in a fun environment.

Thursday Birth2bankside group (13:45pm to 15:00pm)

This is a group for babies up to 18 months old. We offer a range of activities for you and your baby to experience, as well as an opportunity to meet other families and offer peer support. You can also weigh your babies. They will have lots of fun playing, we also offer support and advice for families in all our sessions.
